Rococo

Rococo Rococo was born in France in the block of the XVIIIth century. It was a reaction of nobility against classical baroque which had been cause at Versailles by Louis the XIVth. It is a style of the aristocracy: it reveals a taste for what is clear and elegant, refined and gallant. It fits to a life without worry, agreable and well-nigh related to nature.The characteristics of this style are related to its name. The 1789 French diversity interrupts the development of Rococo. Its influence on French architecture is limited, only if it reaches Germany where it finds favorable ground. Baroque sculptors and painters adopt a new style.
