Cambodia And Climate Change Environmental Sciences Essay
Cambodia And Climate Change Environmental Sciences Essay Our worldwide condition has unpredictably changed from year to year. There are numerous logical confirmations indicating that environmental change is brought about by two components including common causes and human exercises essentially influencing to the worldwide climate because of the discharge of ozone harming substances, for example, Carbon dioxide (CO2), Methane (CH4), Nitrous Oxide (NO2), and other mechanical gases. The difference in atmosphere by human exercises has caused negative effects including an Earth-wide temperature boost, ocean level ascent, expanded cataclysmic event (twister, flood, and dry spell) and has affected financial turn of events. Clearly, Climate change is genuine and occurring in Cambodia that it can't stay away from. Cambodia is considered to endure much because of its significant levels of destitution and poor framework to adapt to catastrophic events and other longer-term impacts of environmental change. Hench, Cambodia is likely defenseless against Climate Change and Global Warming and meanwhile the remainder of the world is worried that it comes to be talked about and banter. The term environmental change is frequently connected with the term a worldwide temperature alteration. Environmental change can be characterized as the critical changes in the atmosphere of the Earth, for example, precipitation, temperature or wind, which goes on for significant stretch of time, for quite a long time or more. A dangerous atmospheric devation can happen from various causes, both man-made and normally happening. An Earth-wide temperature boost is additionally regularly connected with the warming that happens because of expanded emanations of ozone harming substances from human exercises. (What is Climate Change and the Difference between Climate Change and Global Warming) Global warming and environmental change can affect farming and food creation around the globe because of: the impacts of raised CO2 in the air, higher temperatures, adjusted precipitation and transpiration systems, expanded recurrence of outrageous occasions, and altered weed, vermin, and pathogen pr essure. Cambodia is one of the creating nations which will in general give less effects of environmental change than in rich industrialized nations. In any case, Cambodia is probably going to experience the ill effects of the effects of environmental change and a dangerous atmospheric devation that it have to adjust to those changes, particularly regarding dry seasons, floods, soil disintegration and the loss of biodiversity. This thus will influence land profitability and individuals will get more unfortunate. Meanwhile, Cambodia is an agrarian nation that numerous hectares of land are developing rice. After rice, we keep the land inactive, which implies we dont develop all year. Actually, rice creation can add to environmental change, through overwhelmed fields and the utilization of synthetic pesticides and nitrogenous composts. Horticultural can likewise conceivably help alleviate environmental change through soil carbon sequestration by rehearsing manageable agribusiness rehearses. (Wor kshop, May 27-28,2010) All the more critically, man-made have affected most on environmental change and an Earth-wide temperature boost. Populace development has upset the harmony between our biological systems on our planet as the air and oceans contamination, obliteration of the downpour woodlands, fire wearing out of control, change of delicate environments, and pulverization of the ozone layer. These exercises have made an extraordinary Climate Change and Global Warming. Clearly, in Cambodia there is a major space between the rich and the poor as destitution remain the large issue that numerous needy individuals live in the turmoil condition. Generally individuals who live close to the stream, lakes or ocean, for the most part water quality isn't acceptable since water is contaminated by squanders, rubbishes, harmful synthetic substances from pesticides of ranchers and mechanical squanders or mishaps that lead to the jeopardize of individuals wellbeing. Notwithstanding Cambodias issue foundation which contaminates the perfect air because of the smoke of those machines just as numerous old vehicles stayed in the urban areas produce an excess of mischief on condition. In addition, Cambodia had confronted numerous wars that left numerous explosives on numerous hectares of land which isn't just the most serious threat of mankind, however may likewise have a drawn out aggregate impact on the earth atmosphere. Creating nations like Cambodia have been seriously influenced by environmental change and do not have the asset to handle all alone, Hun Sen said at the initial function Monday at the countrys first National Forum on Climate Change. Despite the fact that there is an exacting ecological arrangements received by created and creating nations, in some way or another the standard of law and financial advancement is as yet frail and Cambodia here and there was influenced. For example, there are reports that huge amounts of poisonous waste is saved in Cambodia by different countries. In November 1998, an enormous amount of mercury-loaded waste from Taiwan was dumped in Sihanouk Ville, a well known traveler and port territory in Cambodia. Because of wellbeing concerns, a large number of occupants fled from the region, bringing about a few mishaps along a rough, tight street with at any rate four dead and 13 harmed. Shockingly, after a month another case was found including in excess of 650 t ons of film scraps from Taiwan once more. What's more, a while before this, the Sihanouk Ville police discovered waste materials including x-beams, utilized tape and tapes from South Korea. (New York Times). Cambodia is a casualty of environmental change, and created nations should bear greater obligation in turning around the impacts of a dangerous atmospheric devation, said Prime Minister Hun Sen (Nationalà Forumà onà Climateà Change). Hence the rich was accused to be progressively capable that they have more assets to settle this issue and tremendous nations ought not accuse less-created countries.â Environmental Change and Global Warming give immediate and backhanded effect on the nation, network and individual level. On the nation level, Cambodia which to a great extent relies upon horticulture is defenseless against farming dormancy and misfortunes because of cataclysmic events. Thusly it will encounter moderate financial development because of the worldwide downturn and monetary emergency which lead to poor and immature wellbeing framework that bother medical issues and further weight the administration. Numerous vocations will be influenced by cataclysmic events. Not just homes and properties, rural produce and wellbeing, however even network in general that bring about confronting the monetary downturn, subsequently it will prompt increasingly social wrongdoing. For example, before the century's over, higher ocean levels in the Mekong Delta, where almost 50% of Vietnams rice is developed, may immerse about half (~1.4 million ha) of the deltas agrarian terrains. Contrasted with created and other creating states, Least Developed Countries and Small Island Developing States have discharged moderately limited quantities of petroleum derivatives and along these lines contribute little mischief to environmental change and an Earth-wide temperature boost. However they appear to be endured the most. Creating nations in Asia like Cambodia has minimal ability to adjust to Climate Change and Global warming and is in this manner needing whatever outer help so as to adapt to these issues. Low versatile limit has made Cambodia among the most powerless locale in spite of it is moderately low experienced Climate peril. Be that as it may, in any case different regions with high versatile are helpless because of their high populace densities and shut down area to Climate danger of ocean level ascent and floods in particular Jakarta and Thailand (John E .Newby/WWF Canon, October 2009). It has been known for quite a while the Least Developed Countries (LDCs) a nd Small Island Developing States (SIDS) is the most powerless against the impacts of environmental change because of changing climate designs, especially extreme floods and dry seasons that lead to massive destitution, appetite and ailment. The rising ocean level, alongside other climatic changes, compromises the very endurance of numerous SIDS. Around 860 million individuals in LDCs and SIDS will be unfavorably influenced by environmental change, a large number of them turning out to be ecological displaced people. (Hamilton, 2005). Numerous SIDS depend on one or barely any monetary exercises, particularly the travel industry or fisheries, the two of which are exceptionally affected because of catastrophic events. Environmental change is required to affect sea-going biological systems, and adjust the dispersion and creation of fish. Fish relocation courses, bringing forth and taking care of grounds, and angling seasons are generally prone to change, and the effects on angling networks are dubious. Rising oceans, increasingly extreme tempests, and saltwater interruption in the deltas will harm the locales aquaculture industry, which depends on species with constrained saline resilience, for example, catfish in the Mekong Delta. Cambodia and Vietnam are among the most defenseless on ongoing environmental change impacts on fishery in 130 nations that is substantial reliance on fisheries, high introduction to atmosphere dangers, and restricted adapting limit (Mirza, 2003). Aside from that Asian is the spots of enthusiasm for vacationers, including untamed life zones and stops might be disturbed with less the travel industry because of Climate Change and it likewise has altogether affected on agribusiness and diminishing in the gracefully of water and soil dampness during the dry season, which put the weight on the accessible of water supplies and expanding the requirement for water system. Rice developing zones may likewise be influenced which gives an awful impact on horticultural exchange, financial development and the turn of events (McLeman, 2005). For example, ranchers who straightforwardly rely upon farming are powerless against outrageous occasions which can crush their whole yield because of floods or dry spells that happen erratically or at an inappropriate time of the trimming cycle (Warner et al. 2009). The cooperations from different NGOs and INGOs are extremely fundamental so as to adapt to Climate Change and Global Warming. For example, UNDPs environmental change work in Cambodia centers around reinforcing the limit of government to react to environmental change, making open doors for information sharing and building associations, just as supporting investigation into the impa

Rocky Mountain High-Waisted Pants What Are the Best States for Retirement
Rocky Mountain High-Waisted Pants What Are the Best States for Retirement Rocky Mountain High-Waisted Pants: What Are the Best States for Retirement? Rocky Mountain High-Waisted Pants: What Are the Best States for Retirement? There are great, affordable states to spend your retirement in beside Florida, you know. But if were being perfectly honest, Florida is still one of the best. Some states are just seen as classic âretirement states.â Florida immediately comes to mind. Also, theres umm umm Well, okay, theres pretty much just Florida. While it may be a haven for scams, itâs also warm and filled with tax incentives that can benefit the elderly. But is it the best place to retire? Or are there states you may not have even considered retiring to?After all, there are 50 of them! And presumably, they each have some pros and cons when it comes to retirement. Certainly, you dont want to end up somewhere so expensive that you have to turn to bad credit loans and no credit check loans (like payday loans and cash advances) just to get by!So which states rise to the top of the retirement crop? Idaho. You say potato, we say poh-tah-to. You say Idaho, we say itâs apparently a pretty good place to retire.Or at least Haven Life Insurance (@HavenLifeInsure) found that it was in a study they conducted looking into this very questions. Idaho was ranked number one!Hereâs what their marketing director, Brittney Burgett, wrote about it:âIdaho is known for more than just potatoes. This Midwestern state is home to lakes, hot springs, and more than four million acres of wilderness. Idaho also supplies the majority of the nationâs trout from its more than 100,000 miles of rivers. The overall cost of goods and service in Idaho is seven percent below the national average, but rents are over 30 percent lower. Nampa, the second most populous city in Idaho, is located just outside of the state capital of Boise and is receiving the greatest influx of retirees of any city in the state.âWhen ranking the states, Haven Lifeâs study took into account health care quality, cost of living, and âwell-being,â which includes ac cess to entertainment, weather quality, and crime rates. And that wasnât the only Idaho recommendation we received.âIdaho also tops the charts on great places to retire,â advised Holly Peterson, owner of Elite Retirement Strategies. âThe cost of living is very good and the people are genuine, I would know as I live there myself. The crime rate is incredibly low as well. The state parks and mountain vistas are something to look forward to seeing. Although there is something to be said about sunshine all the time, there is beauty in having all four seasons.âKeeping around that region of the country, we move next toâ¦South Dakota.Sorry, North Dakota! Although you were ranked a respectable fourth in the Haven Life Insurance report, your southern neighbor beat you by two spots, taking number two. Maybe Mt. Rushmore tipped the scales.Actually, everyone we spoke to put South Dakota on their retirement map.âWhile South Dakota may not be the first state that comes to mind when con sidering your retirement years,â began Sophie Kaemmerle, communications manager for NeighborWho (@UseNeighborWho), âthere are so many positives that it may be time to rethink your options! Affordability is key when it comes to South Dakota from low living cost, low health care rates and taxes for retirees. Go check out Aberdeen, Yankton, Billings, Sioux Falls, Tea, and Madison.âAnd hereâs what Peterson had to say: âSouth Dakota is a great option when it comes to retirement. The number one draw to South Dakota is affordability, as the cost of living is lower than average. Quality health care choices and taxes are other big factors that make South Dakota an attractive choice. There are plenty of activities to do as well!âTimothy G. Wiedman, a retired professor of Management Human Resources at Doane University, gave us the stats: âThe cost of living in Rapid City is 1.1 percent above the national average; but compared to living in most states on either coast, thats a r elative bargain. Further, neither the state of South Dakota nor any of its cities levy an income tax; and there are no personal property taxes nor inheritance taxes, either. The combined sales tax rate (state, city, and county) for Rapid City is 6.5 percent, and the Tax Foundation recently ranked South Dakotas overall tax burden as the 2nd best in the nation.âSo all in all, for seniors who enjoy the great outdoors, want to avoid traffic congestion, appreciate breathing fresh air all year long, and want a favorable tax treatment during their retirement years, western South Dakota might be worth serious consideration.âNow letâs move a little further south.Utah and Colorado.Do you want to retire to a state with the refreshing briskness of the Rocky Mountains? Well, there may be a couple appealing options.âIf you enjoy picturesque canyons, low crime, golf and the great outdoors, Utah is a near perfect place to retire,â suggested Peterson. âIn southern Utah, you have all the golf and leisure activities you could want. While there is an average of three inches of snow per year, you will not have to deal with extreme weather.âAnd then with just a little shimmy to the eastâ¦âWhile Colorado may not be the most affordable state to retire in, it has so many other attributes that appeal to retirees that it has become a front-runner in top states to retire in,â explained Kaemmerle. âColorado boasts a temperate climate with four seasons and 300 days of sunshine each year, even in winter, which makes it perfect for active retirees. The stateâs income tax rate of 4.63 percent is one of the nationâs lowest. The state offers a great lifestyle and plenty of amenities, several airports, and an always beautiful backdrop of mountains. A few great cities in Colorado to look at are Durango, Grand Junction, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, and Boulder.âBut we just couldnât⦠retire⦠this post without mentioning one last state again.Florida.Sure, itâs a cliche, but itâs a cliche for a reason.âOne of the best states overall for retirees is Florida, of course,â Kaemmerle assured us. âFrom the cost of living to climate and health care to proximity to airports with daily flights, Florida can check off many of the factors most older Americans need when deciding where to retire.Florida also caters to people in this stage of their life with communities dedicated to the retirement sector. Top cities in Florida to check out are Hialeah, Cape Coral, Fort Lauderdale, Port St. Lucia, and Pembroke Pines.âAnd Peterson agreed: âWith all that said, Florida has long been a popular retirement destination. It is affordable. The cost of living in many parts of Florida are the lowest in the nation. With temperatures ranging on average between 61 and 86 degrees, the climate is appealing. There is a diverse range of entertainment options available as well as many senior communities that have activities. Taxes are another reason to hang your h at in Florida. There is no state income tax, no inheritance tax, and no estate tax. But with all the storms there, it has been outranked.âWhether itâs sun, snow, or low taxes youâre after, thereâs probably a state thatâs right for you. The Death Of Socrates And Jacques-Louis David - 1578 Words
The Death of Socrates was painted by the French painter Jacques-Louis David during the Neo-classical era in 1787. The painting illustrates the execution the Philosopher Socrates as told by Plato in his Phaedo. In 399 B.C, the Athenian court had put Socrates on trial for talking about things in the sky and below the earth, corrupting the minds of the youth, and not believing in the gods, but in other spiritual things. Socrates was then sentenced to death by drinking a poisoned hemlock. In Platoââ¬â¢s Phaedo Death Scene and Apology, both works recount the trial and death scene of Socrates. The enlightenment era included the age of Neoclassicism, a movement in attitude toward art and human existence. Many neoclassical paintings showed emphases on the distribution of light, serious theme and realistic. Various arts were reproduced or imitated from the structures and times of Greek and Roman originals. Jacques-Louis Davidââ¬â¢s Death of Socrates plays a significant role in the time of the French revolution. As the citizens were frustrated with the injustice being brought upon them by the nobles, Davidââ¬â¢s painting of Socrates is there to awaken the people to hold on to their beliefs and never deviate from the path of what is just to them. In Platos dialogues Apology and Phaedo Death Scene, Socrates was always portrayed as sedately accepting death, as he states in his defense ââ¬Å"â⬠¦a man who is any good at all should take into account the risk of life or death; he should look only to this only in his actions, whether what he does is right or wrong. My position with flatworld Free Essays
In this third era of globalization described by Thomas Friedman, the world has shrank from small to tiny and made it a flat playing field.à It is not about nations and states that compete globally but individuals doing research to create the best software in line with the fiber optic technology and broadband. Suddenly, a person from Los Angeles is talking to his product manufacturer in Cebu, Philippines through video chat and almost in real time. We will write a custom essay sample on My position with flatworld or any similar topic only for you Order Now The best news for everyone is that this technology is getting better and more affordable so everyone may have access. The world is breaking barriers so a person who wants to excel in the field of information system and technology must have prudence and cunning to be the best in the field. The existing convention of our system information engineers in the corporate business includes the analyses of operations, inventory, salary, and etcetera. To conquer the field in a more competitive ground, one must be able to look at the worldââ¬â¢s convention, its potential and be able to predict. In other words, one has to have foresight. I am currently interested in furthering studies and research in Geographical Information system. ââ¬Å"It is a system for capturing, storing, analyzing and managing data and associated attributes which are spatially referenced to the earth. In the strictest sense, it is a computer system capable of integrating, storing, editing, analyzing, sharing, and displaying geographically-referenced information. In a more generic sense, GIS is a tool that allows users to create interactive queries (user created searches), analyze the spatial information, edit data, maps, and present the results of all these operationsâ⬠(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geographic_information_system). I believe that the world has to have a bigger layout of the existing environment so one would be able to make a good feasibility study and ultimately a good decision. The competition in this line of project and business is yet scarce, in fact one has to invest so much for a universal GIS to be used anywhere in the world. My vision would be to create a language for the GIS to make it universal. Germany, China and other countries have developed their own GIS yet it would not be understandable or would need a translation for another person in Greece, for example, to read it. Perhaps, this system would get be more valuable for everyone if a Universal Platform GIS will be available to everyone.à I will have to start mapping in the United States territory first, in my own country where I will be able to create a good market and then expand in the real world setting. The more data there is in the GIS system which must include the people, animals and plants (read: the GIS system should not be limited to infrastructures and highways alone) the more it is attractive to the market. The more information, the more the system will be useful for every person in every field. My idea is to use the existing network of Information System schools and universities and create a database of demography, topography, ecosystem, field engineering, infrastructures, highways and even waterways. This information will be mapped in the Universal Platform GIS and create a multi-dimensional overlay that is user-friendly, even a grade-schooler will be able to operate it. Although the main idea is to market it to corporate investors and larger business scales from farming, to food chains, to manufacturers and even foresters, an ordinary person would still be ale to use it in his own car, for example, where it would work like a ââ¬Å"telenavâ⬠device (maps out a certain locality based on network provider) but with more overlays. Of course, with the Universal Platform GIS, it will be able to create a customized program which is web-based that a person that would not be so technical would be empowered to use the system without any qualms. In a businessmanââ¬â¢s benefit, for example, where he wishes to invest on creating a Mc Donald outlet in the suburbs in India, he would only log-in to my website with his username and password and the needed information on the demographics in a suburb in New Delhi would be available. Information, like the number of potential customers because the target customers of the food outlet would be children, adolescents and young adults, he would know the potential market in the area. He would also be equipped with the average income of the people and the potential market and profit. A good area on where to position the infrastructure would be available upon further research in the area because the database would also include a good topography which is multi-dimensional. Sources of supplies for the product would be available for the customer since a list of businesses in the area and nearest farms are available in the website.à To make this universal platform more friendly, a customer service representative is available 24/7 for any questions that he may need about the area and a person in the locality, who would be very familiar with the area will answer his questions. Another application would be a person in the University of Texas doing his research on a remote area in Africa, he would need information about the number of grasslands, the number of forest lands and the number of desert land in the area. Aside from that, the researcher would also be able to find an updated inventory of the number of flora and fauna in the area because the business of Universal Platform GIS would include a yearly subscription for updates on a specific area. An accurate number of plants and animals would be available for the customer depending on his existing need. My system is connected to any existing credible groups in the area so that an expert would also be available in the area for any specific questions that might need a real personââ¬â¢s answer. So, a real-time expertââ¬â¢s opinion would be available for the university researcher for more precise information. Therefore, information in the research would be exact and much updated. A French person in Guatemala who is trapped in the middle of nowhere who is having an asthma attack would just need to hit an emergency care button on her online Universal Platform GIS and she would be able to see the nearest rescue service in her area. She will be given information on estimated time of arrival of any rescue service as well as she can monitor through her mobile phone screen where the rescue services are already through the artificial intelligence that is incorporated in the system. His anxieties would also be lessened because of the continuous update on his rescue service is also available. A client would feel safe and secure anywhere he would be in the world even if language obviously is a barrier.à The program will be able to transcend from any existing obstacle because it is customized already to the needs and the personality of the person using it. In this line of business ownership, one must be able to maintain the security systems of the software so potential hackers would not be able to bug the system. Since the software is web-based, a pool of experts is also partners in the service to continuously monitor the safekeeping of the information and its management. The system must have a login protocol for authentication so that the information would be protected.à This should also be continuously updated with the systems of each user so that they would also feel secure with the information that they are getting. The future of the Information System in business should be equipped with foresight that should keep all data in any given environment and locality is available for everyoneââ¬â¢s use. The startup of the GIS would be very costly; however, the business side of it is endless. To be able to keep the line of business, my next role would be to continuously update the system. The more information there is available, the more appeal it would be for every potential person in the market. à How to cite My position with flatworld, Essay examples

Tesco SWOT Analysis 2015 2016 Paper Tesco plc was the UKââ¬â¢s top retail merchant in 2013 ( Retail Economicss, 2014 ) and maintains a presence in 12 states in Europe and Asia ( Tesco, 2014 ) . To prolong its place and build profitableness, Tesco must measure its strengths, failings, chances and menaces ( SWOT ) . Strengths and weaknesses focal point on internal factors impacting a company ; in contrast, chances and menaces identify external issues ( Collins, 2010 ) . Therefore, it is of import to transport out a SWOT analysis to determine how the company is executing in the market ( Kotleret Al., 2013 ) . Strengths Tesco is a powerful retail trade name globally, in the top 100 of the worldââ¬â¢s most valued trade names, somewhat below Ikea and good above eBay ( Brand Finance, 2014 ) . It is known as a company that offers value for money, convenience, a broad scope of merchandises, and locally-sensitive direction ( Wood and McCarthy, 2014 ) . Worldwide, Tesco has 6,784 shops, an addition of 433 shops since 2012, despite the disposal of their US venture, Fresh A ; Easy ( Tesco, 2012, 2014 ) . Tesco has utilised advanced concern methods in its rise, including the creative activity of shops like Tesco Metro and Tesco Express, which are little shops in local vicinities to do shopping more convenient for the clients ( Schiraldi, Smith and Takahashi, 2012 ) . Other strengths in their planetary operations include on-line shopping, joint ventures, such as in China, and local enlisting, including in senior direction places ( Koen, Bertels and Elsum, 2011 ) . Because of their size and installations, T esco can purchase in majority, profiting from economic systems of graduated table ( Blythman, 2012 ) . This permits the company to lower monetary values to maintain monetary values attractive and be competitory with UK retail merchants such as Asda or Sainsburyââ¬â¢s. Additionally, by making trueness bundles such as the Clubcard, they retain clients, making long-run relationships ( Felgate, Fearne and Di Falco, 2011 ) . This theoretical account has its failings. Tescoââ¬â¢s net income has been impacted by bad debt from recognition cards and high degrees of family insurance claims ( Ruddick, 2014 ) . Another issue is Tescoââ¬â¢s deficiency of experience in some markets that it intends to come in, such as its ain trade name smartphones and tablets ( Wood and Gibbs, 2014 ) . Finally, Tesco needs to put a batch of hard currency in new web engineerings and IT, every bit good as shop renovation, deviating hard currency from monetary value decrease schemes ( Ruddick, 2014 ) . This is likely to hold an inauspicious consequence on gross revenues ( Bunn and Ellis, 2012 ) . Opportunities There are many chances for Tesco, including enlargement into markets such as digital amusement, through their 80 % investing in Blinkbox ( Hall, 2011 ) . The move by Tesco to offer own-brand tablets and smartphones can cross with this investing, peculiarly in foreign markets such as Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand, and China ( Piercy, Cravens and Lane, 2010 ) . Online shopping can offer greater flexibleness to clients who are taking busy household lives or have mobility issues ; Tesco is seeking to run into the demands of the clients by spread outing operations in this sector ( Ma, Ding and Hong, 2010 ) . The on-going effects of the recession, where households and persons may be fighting financially, or excessively busy working to cook ( Thompsonet al. ,2012 ) , can be accommodated through wider ââ¬Ëvalueââ¬â¢ and Tescoââ¬â¢s Finest stigmatization. In add-on, farther abroad enlargement could happen in markets such as Australia, where the food market retail market faces compa ratively limited competition yet is ferociously price-sensitive ( Clarke, 2012 ) . Menaces Tesco is confronted by many menaces in the market. Their current place as figure one in the UK food market retail sector means that they are the mark of consistent competition from Sainsburyââ¬â¢s, Asda, Morrisonââ¬â¢s, and, progressively, Lidl and Aldi ( Stevenson, 2014 ) . One menace that Tesco continues to defy is the coup detat of Asda by Wal-Mart. Branding of shops as Asda Wal-Mart has been increasing in the UK, showing a weakening in the consumer contempt for Wal-Mart. The 9th most-valued trade name in the universe, Wal-Mart is Tescoââ¬â¢s largest planetary rival and therefore has the necessary accomplishments, resources, experience and financess to do Tesco jobs ( Brand Finance, 2014 ) . The consequence of town planning and consumer intolerance for out-of-town shops, every bit good as concern for the support of little stores, can besides endanger Tescoââ¬â¢s enlargement programs ( Stevenson, 2014 ) . Decision SWOT analysis allows sellers to place hazards in their environment. Once hazards are evaluated, steps can adopted to extenuate against the inauspicious effects of market alterations, or take advantage of gaps ( Kotleret al. ,2013 ) . Although a retail merchant may still confront tremendous challenges, such as Tesco is soon sing ( Ruddick, 2014 ) , developing flexibleness enables companies to construction programs to optimize success, or avoid come ining into undertakings in which failure is a important possibility. Strengths may be tailored to chances in the market, so that schemes are enhanced and clear aims set ( Kotleret al. ,2013 ) .Through consistent planning and economic consciousness, Tesco is good placed to procure its hereafter, as its diversified retail scheme is likely to suit increasing consumer trust on online shopping, digital merchandises and services, price reduction food market services. Majority verdicts in Australia
Majority verdicts in Australia The role of the jury is to determine innocence or guilt of defendant based on the evidence given in court. The requirement 12 people must find the defendant guilty beyond reasonable doubt has existed in law since the 14th century. In the past 12 jurors had to reach a unanimous verdict which was often difficult to achieve because of rogue jurors. It was inefficient in terms of time and tax payer money. Majority verdicts have been debated extensively since the mid 1990s and there have been three private members bills introduced on the subjectOne of the problems induced by unanimity is that of hung trials. 8% of trials by jury end up hung and this inability to reach a verdict frustrates the administration of justice. Such trials cause emotional, financial and time costs and can end with no sense of closure for the victim.Another problem with unanimous verdicts is that of rogue jurors.VERDICT 16 dà ©cembre 2008 Teaser Vidà ©o

5 Strategies That Will Help You Build Strong Workplace Skills
5 Strategies That Will Help You Build Strong Workplace Skills As we look at a brand new year, you might have the classic resolutions lined up: eat better, sleep better, be better. If your revamped goals also include being better at your job (or stepping up your game so you can nab a new job), thereââ¬â¢s a great way to make progress without changing everything at once: build your workplace skills. This can mean bolstering skills you already have, or seeking out new ones. Saying ââ¬Å"go forth and build skillsâ⬠is one thing, but how to actually do that? Letââ¬â¢s look at some strategies for how to start your growth process.1. Be realistic. If you decide you want to brush up your Spanish language skills, donââ¬â¢t expect to be fluent in six monthsââ¬â¢ time (no matter what that app tells you). Make sure youââ¬â¢re setting SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time Bound). Make sure your skill-building goals have concrete steps that can be achieved in the time and brainspace you have available. For exampl e, if youââ¬â¢ve been saying youââ¬â¢ll take that management seminar when you have a magical period of free time that never materializes, chances are youââ¬â¢re not going to do it this time around, either. Make sure you have the time and space in your life to work on these skills before you dive in.2. Focus on quality over quantity.Making a little progress on 10 skills is nice, but wouldnââ¬â¢t you rather make tons of progress on 2 skills? Pick a few areas where you can really dig in and put in the work, with the time you have available.3. Focus on process over end result.Letââ¬â¢s say your current plan (realistically) looks like this:1. Improve communication skills.2. Yada yada yada.3. â⬠¦Promotion!Thatââ¬â¢s a system that isnââ¬â¢t going to work. Itââ¬â¢s great to envision where you want to end up (thatââ¬â¢s a key part of any goal setting exercise), but you canââ¬â¢t let the details in the middle get muddled while you focus on the end. Make sure you know exactly how youââ¬â¢re going to get to that endpoint by creating specific steps and touchpoints along the way. Where do you want to be in two months with this? Six months? A year?4. Pick skills that will be useful.Donââ¬â¢t learn Swahili because hey, why not learn Swahili? Learn Swahili because your company just opened an office in Tanzania, or because your bossââ¬â¢s boss is fluent, and youââ¬â¢d love to drop some key phrases at next yearââ¬â¢s office holiday party. Focus on skills that will be useful to you in the short term, and that are specific to your career path. For example, if the next level at your job involves presentations, work on your public speaking skills. If data analysis is an emerging trend in your field, seek out online lessons for some ninja tricks to improve your Excel game.5. Know your existing strengths.Yes, the whole point of this exercise is to learn new things. But it will be very difficult to learn these new things if youââ¬â¢re going too far outside your comfort zone, and want to give up because your new skill is hard. It could very well be that youââ¬â¢re just not learning the skill in a way that makes sense to you. Make sure that you understand how you learn best. If itââ¬â¢s by watching other people do things, take online tutorials. If you process information by hearing it, seek out lectures. If you would rather read about it, head to the library. If you try to align your skill-building with your best learning style, you increase your chances of success. So what skills will you be building in the new year? Weââ¬â¢d love to hear about your progress!

SLP4 - Coursework Example The Coca Cola Company can resolve this problem by using the pre-emptive strategy that allows it to provide top-notch products that cannot be substituted. As a result, the customers will continue to stick with the company and continue purchasing its products regardless of the availability of the substitutes. The Coca-Cola Company faces highest competitive rivalry particularly from Pepsi Co. Furthermore, the increased number of new entrants have also created high level of threat for the company to survive. In order to minimize these threats, Coca-Cola company has to make the most of its economies of scale in order to lower its consumer price per bottle. Eventually, the lowest possible price will be difficult for its competitors to reach. Consequently, providing competitive advantage to the Coca Cola Company. Through differentiation strategy, the Coca-Cola Company should invest more on innovation to develop unique and different bottle designs, concepts, processes, marketing campaigns, public messages, brand names, slogans, corporate social responsibility activities that are unique in their own way and address the sensitive issues of the societies. As a result, a brand image will develop that is unparalleled and cannot be matched by any of its competitors. Furthermore, the customers will become loyal to the brand due to the fact that the company is able to demonstrate higher level of concern for the health and wellness of its customers instead of its profits. Through the focus strategy, the Coca Cola company will be able to enter into the bottled water market and other booming industries like food items to maintain its competitive edge over its competitors. Most significantly, Coca Cola company has to enter into a niche market in which the competitors either are not willing to enter or do not have the required knowledge, infrastructure and expertise to sustain in that particular industry. The Grandmother and Ruby Turpin Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1250 words
The Grandmother and Ruby Turpin - Essay Example The bitter epiphany that the Grandmother and Ruby Turpin have experienced in these stories reflects the journey of every human being toward coming to terms with himself. Moreover, in the stories, the Grandmother and Ruby Turpin share a number of similarities and differences in terms of character, experience and various other aspects. The Grandmother and Ruby Turpin share a number of similarities in terms of character and other aspects. First of all, they are both bigots. The Grandmother, in fact, is a ââ¬Å"hypocritical old soulâ⬠(Bandy 109). As the oldest character in the story, she seems to show to Bailey, his wife and the children that she possesses the greatest wisdom and the deepest connection with Jesus Christ. However, the irony is that she is the most afraid among the characters when the Misfit shows up. While the rest of the family are curious about the Misfit and his friends, the grandmother is the first one who ââ¬Å"shrieked [and] scrambled to her feet [and called out] ââ¬Å"Youââ¬â¢re the Misfit!â⬠(Oââ¬â¢Connor, ââ¬Å"A Good Man is Hard to Findâ⬠306). This particular line simply shows how fearful she is of what can possibly happen to her and the rest of the family. The Grandmotherââ¬â¢s hypocrisy in her faith in Jesus Christ also shows when, even as she calls out Jesusââ¬â¢ name, she offers the Misfit a bribe. ... Youââ¬â¢re one of my own childrenâ⬠(309). Nevertheless, this last attempt of the Grandmother at survival turns out to be the exact opposite of what she actually wants. Perhaps she thinks that by mentioning God, the Misfit will not kill her, but she is wrong. Ruby Turpin, just like the Grandmother, is simply ââ¬Å"bigoted and complacentâ⬠(Paquet-Deyris 1). She keeps mentioning to everyone in the room, or at least make them feel, that she has ââ¬Å"a little of everythingâ⬠ââ¬â land, property, slaves, hogs ââ¬â thus implying that she is better than them (Oââ¬â¢Connor, ââ¬Å"Revelationâ⬠89). The phrase ââ¬Å"a little of everythingâ⬠seems like a humble way of saying ââ¬Å"I have a lotâ⬠but it is the latter meaning that she wants to make everyone feel. Moreover, like the Grandmother, Ruby also has this seemingly religious image which she flamboyantly projects upon everyone she sees. However, unlike the Grandmother who uses Jesusââ¬â ¢ name as a sort of attempt at survival, Ruby seems to invoke the holy name out of pride. Toward the middle of the story, she mentions, ââ¬Å"I thank the Lord he has blessed me with a good [disposition]â⬠(91), and ââ¬Å"Oh thank you, Jesus, Jesus, thank youâ⬠(92). This last line, however, has cost her a lot as we all know. Perhaps Ruby thinks that everyone is impressed with her just because she tells everyone how close she is to Jesus. Little does she know that Mary Grace is not the least impressed. Mary Grace knows that beneath the cloak of this ââ¬Å"respectable, hardworking, church-goingâ⬠follower of Jesus Christ lurks an evil that looks down on everyone (94). And indeed Mary Grace is right about Ruby Turpin ââ¬â the latter is full of prejudices against people in general. In fact, Ruby has indeed proudly ranked herself as a

Biology, The Five Major Compounds :: essays research papers
Compounds That Compose the Human Body à à à à à There are five major groups of compounds that compose the human body. They are carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, nucleotides, and water. These are all very important to humans and without them we would not be able to survive. They have many functions that encourage a human cell and a human body to function. à à à à à Carbohydrates include sugars and starches, contain carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen which appears in a ratio of 1:2:1. Carbohydrates are classified according to size as monosaccharides, disaccharides, and polysaccharides. The primary function of carbohydrates is to serve as sources of energy. Carbohydrates are some of the most numerous molecules in living organisms. They play a major role as food molecules in the cell, being broken down to produce energy. Polysaccharides play an important role serving as energy reserves also. It provides a quick-release energy source that keeps us going between meals. Small amounts of carbohydrates are also used for structural purposes and others are attached to outer surfaces of cell membranes to guide cellular interactions. For many cells, sugars are the most important source of energy. à à à à à Lipids are important because they function as structural components of cell membranes, sources of insulation, and a mean of energy storage. The lipid molecules are most well known as forming basic structures of cell membranes and as energy storage molecules as well. In this group of lipids, there are about three main types: true fats (triglycerides), phospholipids, and steroids. True fats represent the bodyââ¬â¢s most abundant and concentrated source of usable energy. When they are oxidized, they yield large amounts of energy. They are stored chiefly in fat deposits beneath the skin and around body organs, where they help insulate the body and protect deeper body tissues from heat loss and bumps. True fats are a storage form for excess food, they are stored energy. Any type of food consumed in excess need to be converted to fat and stored. Phospholipids although similar in structure to the true fats, are not stored energy but rather structural components of cel ls. Lecithin is a phospholipid that is part of our cell membranes and myelin provides electrical insulation for nerve impulse transmission. The third group is steroids and cholesterol is an important steroid. Cholesterol is another component of cell membranes and a form of cholesterol in the skin is changed to vitamin D on exposure to sunlight. All of the sex hormones like estrogen and testosterone are also steroids.

Existing Good or Service Business Proposal
Existing Good or Service Business Proposal T. J. ââ¬Ës Corporation Business Plan Tresa Milton ECO 561 March 25, 2013 Dr. Guthlac Kirk Anyalezu T. Jââ¬â¢s Corporation Business Plan T. J. ââ¬â¢s Corporation Business Plan In today society the development of technology, which are items that individual normally use being transferred into a different era. These are the items which, individualââ¬â¢s use every day newspapers, magazines, and now books has been supplementary to the technology world in the form of Kindle, Nook, eBook, or on CD's. T. J. s Corporation will produce a technology which, will take a book, which the corporation can use and scan it into an eBook along with an accurate synthetic voice for individuals to listen. However, T. J. ââ¬â¢s Corporation will show how the revenue will increase, determine the profit-maximizing quantity, and marginal revenue to maximize profit. Also T. J. ââ¬â¢s Corporation will analyze mix of pricing and non-pricing. T. J. ââ¬â ¢s Corporation will be looking for a location to work on the proposal and have the supplementary employeeââ¬â¢s to help with transference of books to the digital format. T. J. s is currently working out of a small building and with the new proposal needs something bigger. Working in a small building puts the employees in the situation where he or she is working with little run to work. With the new location it will allow T. J. ââ¬â¢s Corporation to work on the new design and have the consumerââ¬â¢s product out faster. Assumptions and Market Structure Although other corporation have books out in eBook, the books are merely only accessible in the merchandise provided by that company. T. J. ââ¬â¢s Corporation merchandise consumers will have the option of reading the book quite or read along with the digital sound track.Since, T. J. ââ¬â¢s owns a patent on their technology their company is considered monopoly, because T. J. ââ¬â¢s is permitted the only business that i s selling this type of merchandise (McConnell, Brue, ; Flynn, 2013). Also there is an assumption that any employee which will be working in a month is about $300 based on sales. T. J. ââ¬â¢s Corporation has to generate another digitizer for their workers to have so more books can be downloaded quicker. Growth of Revenues TJââ¬â¢s Corporation requires an improved marketing strategy for their digitized books this approach will allow sales to increase. If T.J. ââ¬â¢s changes the prices of their books their revenue will also increase. T. J. ââ¬â¢s Corporation is using a small website and on the sight the prices are as follow: $10 for books with failed copyright (old books), and $15 for books containing an copyright (new books). T. J. ââ¬â¢s Corporation sold 1,000 old books and 2,000 new books in the first six months. T. J. ââ¬â¢s did some research, found the new books could be brought for $5 charge and CD are $20 (R. L. Copple, 2013). With this information the company can rise their new books price to $18 to add a $3 profit and lower their older books to $7.The change in price could actually help boost the sales of the books because the older books are at a lower price which could increase revenues and the increase in price on the newer books will increase the profit. In addition, if Bury were to market his books to high school and college students there could be an increase of revenue. Bury would need to add text books to the books being digitized but if students have the option of listening to someone read the books the information might be easier for them to understand. The pricing on the books would have to be increased because of the actual price of the textbook and a higher copyright fee. The addition of the books would help to increase revenue and bring more traffic to his site for the other books. Profit maximizing Will Bury would need to look at his fixed costs (those costs that do not change the output) and the variable costs (costs that do change based on the level of output). Bury's variable costs are the five dollars for the copyrighted books that will help to expand his catalog and the costs associated with his website. This can be in the form of number of transactions or purchases and the fees associated from them. In addition, Bury will need to hire an assistant and the $40,000 that he pays will include taxes and benefits, the purchase of $14,000 in computer equipment to advance his technology, and $6,000 in advertising. This would be $60,000 a year or about $7,000 a month of fixed costs. Marginal costs and marginal revenue If there is an increase in output there will always be a raise in profit as long as marginal revenue is greater than marginal cost. There will always be a need for books to be digitized so there will always be one more unit of good to be produced and sold. There will always be new books being written and this means that there will be a constant need for books to be digitized. There will be m any choices for customers especially when new books are released. Pricing and non pricing There are many types of pricing that Bury could use and needs to take a look at all to see what would fit his business. Bury could offer single or multi unit pricing, quantity discounts, and any specials or discounts that he feels he could offer during holidays.Bury could offer promotional discounts as a way to increase revenue and bring in more customers. If Bury was to look at when book fairs or sales occur he could set up a table with information and computers for customers to purchase or look at his database. With non pricing the strategy is to make the price less of a factor with customer purchase and make product difference a greater factor (McConnell, Brue, & Flynn, 2009). Marketing research, new product development, and advertisement could be considered non pricing competition because Bury is trying to find ways to increase his sales. Barriers to entrySince, Bury's business is considere d a monopoly and is the only one with the technology then there should be no barriers. A barrier occurs when there are other companies that exist in the marketplace and have established patents that will make it difficult for the product being copied (McConnell, Brue, ; Flynn, 2009). Since, Bury does have a patent that means that he will out skill his competitors and with his new technology he will dominate his industry. With these barriers there could be a problem at the beginning but once the company is establish Bury wont have any problems. Product DifferentiationWill Bury's product is very different from what is out in the market because it is a digital and voice synthesized is more convenient than eBooks or books and CD's. With his product he offers customers a more convenient way to listen and read books in one place. In addition, for those avid readers the introduction of eBooks will allow for multiple books to be housed in one location. Minimized costs Mr. Bury will need to find ways to minimize his costs so he can increase his revenues. At the present time Mr. Bury will not be able to hire a full time assistant but once he has an established revenue then he can hire a full time assistant.Another way to save money would be to have his children or wife help with digitizing the book. In addition, if Bury was willing to train and work with high school and college students he can have multiple people to work part time and can have the books digitized faster. This means that he can increase his catalog of books fast and he will be able to offer more books for his customers. Conclusion At present, Mr. Bury has many options available to him that he can implement to have a successful business. The main item that he has to consider is the price, cost, and the manufacture level for creating the digital books. Mr.Bury has done a great job of identifying the costs associated with copyrighted material and the price that he would want to sell his books. One item tha t he would want to consider is the fact that he could change the price of the old and new books to increase his revenue and he can look to see if could lower the price that he pays for the royalty of the book. Currently the market is small and with Mr. Bury being a monopoly with his patented technology, he can really expand his market. The one item the Mr. Bury has to watch is the economy and has to remember that he has to stay on top of the competition. References Copple, R. 2012). How do ebooks cost. Organizations are moving their concern towards the use of all th ose tools and tactics which are favoring the use of ethical practices just to create a positive image of the company. It is perceived by the organizations that without having a good reputation and position in the mind of the target market, it is not possible to remain competitive in the respective market (Mahlouji and Anaraki November 2009). Market image of companies is becoming a success factor that is now assumed by the management. Many organizations which were not in a state to even prolong their business for a longer time period are now on the top rank just due to their initiatives towards the use of ethical and socially responsible practices aimed to deliver awesome results. It is also now presumed that once an image is built, it is impossible for an organization to rectify the situation straightforwardly. One major breakthrough can be attained only under some initiatives. Social initiatives taken by organizations make them great actor in the image of society that transforme d the average players into the position of market leaders, and the industry to which they belongs hardly matters. There are various Football clubs, which are performing their duties of maintaining a socially responsible behavior aimed to deliver their tremendous contribution to the society for the welfare. Our writers will create an original "Corporate Social Responsibility Theories And Models" essay for you Create order Theoretical Background There are various theories of corporate social responsibility that are developed to provide a hand to the organizations which are eager to attain a positive position in the mind of the target market. Corporate social responsibility is related to the obligation an organization has for the society. The CSR theories state that it is the obligation of organizations to perform their business operations by keeping the view of stakeholders. It is expected from the organizations to be socially responsible. CSR is a strategic necessity that is considered as a critical success factor for the organization (Corporate Social Responsibility 2009). There are mainly four theories of CSR, which are applied by the organizations to develop image of a socially oriented firm. These are as follow: Instrumental theory: According to this theory of CSR, firms are viewed as an instrument for the generation of wealth only. The social activities performed by the organizations are aimed to attain the expect ed economic outcomes, which are totally oriented towards wealth creation. After a number of examinations, this theory of CSR is placed into the domain of valid theory. It establishes a relationship between the CSR policies and the economic results. It favors the use of social activities for the attainment of economic objectives of wealth maximization. It applies mainly three approaches that are maximization of shareholders value, strategies for attaining competitive advantage and marketing related to cause. First approach states that social investment should be done for attaining the competitive advantage. Second approach favors that focus of the corporation should be on the natural resources and their competency. Third approach emphasizes that it is essential for the organizations to use the social activities for improving their competitive position in the respective market which further can contribute them to improve the wealth of their stakeholders. Altruistic activities shoul d be performed by the firm (Ismail 2009). Political theory: According to this theory, corporations should use their power in the political field. It states that firms have a powerful status in society, which is entitled to use the power in a responsible way. It also has three main approaches that are corporate constitutionalism, integrative social contract and corporate citizenship, which are directed to different tools. Corporate constitutionalism argues that all the social responsibilities and authorities are the result of social power, which is occupied by the corporations. Second approach states that social contract is a bond between the firm and society. This contract is based on the duties organizations have for the society for which it also attains a lot in terms of profitability and reputation. Corporate citizenship approach argues that corporations are similar to citizens who have some responsibilities for the society into which they reside (Nelgadde March 2010). Inte grative theory: This theory states that main aim of organizations should be focused on the satisfaction of requirements of society. It has chiefly four approaches: management issue, public responsibility, stakeholder management and corporate social performance, which are aimed to fulfill the social demands. First approach is related to the response of organizations to the political and social issues. By responding to the issues encountered by political and social environment, an organization can perform its public responsibility effectively. Second approach states the use of public policies and legal rules to locate the society. Third approach is related to the stakeholder management that is aimed to balance the identified interests of all key members of the stakeholder group. Corporate social performance states that corporation should identify some process and social legitimacy to respond to the social issues and needs. Only after searching the social issues and demands, it is poss ible for the companies to fulfill the unmet needs of society. Ethical theory: This theory of CSR states that corporations should focus over the right paths to create a good society. It also has four approaches that are stakeholder normative theory, universal rights, sustainable development and common good. The first approach states that corporations should perform some fiduciary duties towards the stakeholders. For this, a firm should apply the moral theories. The next approach states that company should consider rights of human, labor and environment for working in an ethical manner. Sustainable development focuses on the development of human beings by considering their current and potential generations. There are some pragmatic models of CSR, which are based on socially oriented approaches. These are as follows: Model 1: According to first model, CSR is a set of some specific activities, which consist of philanthropic and charitable donations, advancement of religious, ra cial and gender diversity at workplace and human rights, environment and safety. All these activities should be performed for the society and its welfare. It is an obligation of a firm to consider the key activities which are aimed to deliver some helpful hands to the society at a whole. Model 2: This model states that business ethics are considered as a main dimension of CSR. It mainly focuses on the issues of stakeholders and emphasizes some traditionally linked areas to ensure the compliance with the ethical code of conducts. It also focuses on the key aspects related to business ethics that are bribery, antitrust issues, dubious sales, deceit and pricing policies. It favors the ethical conducts which are aimed to perform the business activities in an ethical manner along with the fulfillment of stakeholders requirements (Legal Perspectives on Corporate Social Responsibility January 2010). Model 3: According to this model, activities and business procedure of the corporate have a combined feature of socially responsible behavior that is favorable to the stakeholders. Behavior of a firm is the mirror of corporate social responsibility, which should be maintained through some ethical activities by the firms in order to develop a positive image in front of the target market (Jennings 2004). These are some pertinent theories and models of corporate social responsibility (CSR) which should be considered by the organizations which are interested in developing a positive reputation in the eye of customers. According to these theories and models of CSR, organizations should invest their resources for ensuring the standards set by CSR. Framework provided by CSR theories and model is in favor of constructing a better world by showing proper response to the stakeholders needs (Fang, Huang and Huang January 2010). Due to its efforts for social welfare, it is known in the eyes of fans more than a simpler club. It has some social dimensions, which reflect its contribution for the society. It had also made partnership with UNHCR in 2006 to support the refugee children through sports. The players of the club have also implemented their efforts to put a touch of happiness among the children suffering from vulnerable diseases. Apart from this, it had also developed partnership with UNESCO in November 2007 (UNHCR and Barcelona Football Club launch partnership to help refugee children through sport 2008). Barcelona Foundation: The club is famous for its contributions and efforts for the society which can be placed at the level of public recognition. For helping the education, society, culture, the foundation of the club had donated a considerably part of its income, which is its helpful hand in terms of corporate socially responsible behavior. The foundation engages in social, cultural and economical activities to support the society that is again its concern for society. To support the society, the company had taken various initiatives on the part of society to ensure that the needy people are getting the benefits of its initiatives in terms of CSR. All the activities of this foundation are aimed to deliver awesome results to the society in order to fulfill their social demands in a favorable manner. Membership: The organization also has the membership of ECOSOC (Economic and Social Council of United States). The mission behind this membership is its zeal to create an emblematic social model with the help of its sponsorship activities. It can be judged by this CSR measure that up to which extent the company wants to prove its fundamental role in constructing a wealthy society at the global level (Roy 2008). Agreement with telecommunication: The Company also established agreement with a telecom company that is Etisalat to provide its support at the worldwide level in order to leverage the sponsorship income for the society. It had taken some pr omising measures to fulfill the unmet needs of society, which assisted it to create remarkable footprints in the world of soccer. Management of the company developed some favorable strategies for the benefit of business as well society that transformed it from an average player into a market leader across the globe. Steps taken by the company were positively criticized across the boarder which established some new benchmarks for other football clubs at a large level. It is the only football club, which is known more than a club among the fans. To provide a support to the disable people, the company had developed a partnership with some non profit organization. The company had made its business in such a manner that delivered it as a most favorite club in minds of its fans, which decide the credibility of any club. Each of the company acts was oriented towards the fulfillment of needs of social and cultural environment. To develop an image of a social friendly company, it is essen tial for a company to take some strategic initiatives, which are not totally oriented towards the maximization of profitability. Organizations should take care about the social concern, as it is an unavoidable part of corporations. It is true that main goal of any business is to generate revenue, and at the same time, to please all the stakeholders is the main responsibility of an organization which should be considered while developing strategies. Market image is considered as an important aspect which if not maintained by the organization can result into the huge loss in terms of business, which is heavily dependent over the target market. To sustain market reputation, it is essential for the organization to perform ethical conducts only, which are aimed to satisfy the social demands with fuller dedication. All the duties and obligations prescribed by the CSR theories and models should be considered by the organizations to create a positive corporate image in the minds of the t arget market.
